OUR STORY
In the 1950s, Japanese immigrants, together with their young children, saw in the Ibiúna-SP region an opportunity in agriculture, beginning their production in the potato crop.
Already in the 60s, the SECOND GENERATION of the MAEDA family began, which began the cultivation of new types of crops such as tomato, cabbage, grape and apple.
Around 1965, the interest arose of working with the carrot culture due to the scarcity of the product on the market. That has become highly profitable. Carrot cultivation by the family was developed along with potato.
The development of agriculture by the family in Ibiúna-SP took place until 1989. From there, the company moved to São João Del Rei, MG, where the THIRD GENERATION of the MAEDA family began.
